Ducks Unlimited is a national conservation organization whose goal is to protect and restore the natural habitat for the waterfowl and wildlife that make America’s wetlands their home. Wetlands are rapidly disappearing, consumed by manmade development. Every year more than 80,000 acres of our nation’s waterfowl habitat are lost. To reverse this trend, Ducks Unlimited currently is planning 4 new conservation projects in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as many others across the country.

Everyone in the Lincoln area is invited to attend this presentation and ask questions. The Open Space Committee would also like feedback on this year’s Creek Day event as well as to hear of any open space issues or concerns that residents may have.

Meetings are open to any and all residents who have an interest in conservation, in protecting our environment, in preserving and enhancing our open spaces, and in preserving some of our rural heritage amidst all the growth.
