Union Pacific workers leave trash along tracks
It's unfortunate that Union Pacific workers decided to leave their trash behind for someone else to pick up. Workers had been in the area recently conducting work on the train tracks north of Lincoln all the way to Marysville. The area the trash was dumped isn't easy to access nor does it have road frontage.
The trash was either dumped off a train or the area was a staging place for workers to take a break. A sign which read, "H2O," was fashioned from the flap of the box the water bottles came in. Over twenty-four empty water bottles and twelve fruit cup containers were thrown about. There were also lunch meat packages amongst the debris.
