Summer Theatre Academy, in cooperation with Placer Union High School District, is proud to present The Wizard of Oz! Opening Night is this Thursday, August 12. The show runs through through August 21 at the Placer High School Auditorium. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:15 and Saturday matinees at 2:15. Students from Placer, Del Oro, Colfax, Bear River, Foresthill and Maidu High Schools, as well as many area middle schools, have devoted their summer towards creating an outstanding rendition of The Wizard of Oz! With an 8 piece orchestra, beautifully detailed sets and costumes, and high caliber vocals and dancing, the cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz is excited to introduce this classic to a new generation and to inspire adults to fall in love with the show all over again.
